Other fields of work

If your field of work is not listed, you are still welcome to get in touch. Describe what the work involves and we can talk about whether there is a sensible conversation to have.

About this field of work

Not every business fits a sector heading. Cleaning, facilities, retail, security, landscaping and care-related support are examples of work that is needed everywhere. Some of these roles are regulated, so the first question is often what rules apply.

Roles often found in this field

  • Cleaning and facilities services
  • Retail and shop-floor staff
  • Security and caretaking
  • Care and support assistants
  • Landscaping and groundskeeping
  • Other roles

These are typical occupations in the field. They are not a statement about what Skilled Workers Poland can supply or about the availability of people.

Questions worth settling

What does the work involve?
Describe the day-to-day tasks, not only the job title; titles mean different things in different countries.
Is the role regulated?
Care, security and some other occupations may need registration, background checks or recognised qualifications. Check first.
Language and personal qualities
In people-facing roles, communication and reliability may matter as much as formal qualifications.
Location, timing and housing
Where the work is, when it starts and how people will live and travel shape what is realistic.

Licences, certificates and regulated points

Some tasks legally require certificates or registration, and the rules depend on the country where the work happens. Check these with the competent authority:

  • Registration or recognition of qualifications for regulated occupations such as care roles
  • Background or security checks where the role requires them

Common questions

Is there a role-specific page for what we need?

The nine sector pages cover broad fields of work. Additional role-level pages may be added in future where there is a clear reason; for now you can talk to us directly.
